Mobile Health Nurse

By October 18, 2021February 3rd, 2022No Comments

Our Mobile Health Nurses perform in-home visits for clinical trial participants. A typical visit involves a drive to the participant’s home, with the collection of blood specimens via phlebotomy, a physical assessment, administration of questionnaires and other specific assessment tools, and performance of an ECG.

At most visits, blood specimens are processed in-home using a portable centrifuge, and samples are shipped to the study lab via courier. Research participants are assessed for adverse events and any new findings are reported.

Some visits may include specialty skills like pediatric assessment and phlebotomy, pulmonary function tests, neuromuscular assessments, and infusions.
